Job Description

The Group Reporting Accountant is a key role within the Group and CPI finance teams; the role has a significant focus on reporting of performance internally for key stakeholders within the division and within the wider group.Client DetailsA leading global manufacturing supplier of a broad range of innovative, flexible, and rigid products used every day within consumer and industrial end markets. Operating close to 300 manufacturing facilities worldwide, on six continents, and employs closeto 50,000 individuals.Description

  • Preparation of monthly management reports and Board presentations with supporting detailed analysis
  • Point of contact for site finance managers during reporting period
  • Supporting the budgeting and monthly re-forecasting process
  • Ownership of specific reporting areas (Sales / market analysis)
  • Supporting increased divisional interaction
  • Support the Cognos Controller consolidation and reporting system, being a key user, working with the Group Reporting team
  • Development and administration of new systems / tools to streamline, progress and automate existing processes and reporting
  • Support the transition of some key reports from excel into our Business Intelligence tool as well as developing new insightful reports for key stakeholders.
Profile
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Excellent IT skills; must be highly proficient with Excel. Previous enterprise reporting experience (Cognos Controller, Hyperion, etc.) desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and looking for continuous improvement in all areas
  • Experience of working with and analysing large data sets
  • Graduate or exceptional non-graduate
  • Willingness to develop within a large, diverse, fast moving company
  • Bright, personable, enthusiastic and committed, with good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good communicator, with confidence to establish credibility across the global business
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently
