Job Description

About the Role: We are excited to recruit for an experienced Financial Operations Accountant. Our client, a leader in its field based in Corby, offers an array of benefits to include:

As a Financial Operations Accountant, you will oversee direct reports ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations. You will be responsible for:Accounts Payables
  • Complete Supplier Set-Up procedures and due diligence
  • Process New Supplier Forms and maintain information
  • Oversee Preferred Supplier listing for compliance
  • Manage Purchase to Pay systems and Purchase Ledgers
Accounts Receivables
  • Conduct Credit Risk Management activities
  • Manage cash collection to achieve targets
  • Collaborate with Sales Ledger Leads for payment resolution
Financial Controls Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with credit risk management policy
  • Implement process improvements for effective risk management
  • Issue monthly credit risk reports to the Head of Financial Control
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is required
  • ACCA/CIMA or similar or working towards qualification
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to take on responsibility
  • Excellent time management skills with impeccable accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong team player with the ability to build good working relationships
