Job Description

Extrusion Machine Setter - Permanent - GIANT Plastic Manufacturing CompanySalary: £32000 for first three months then rises to 36kLocation: FelbridgeWe are looking to recruit multiple motivated experienced Extrusion machine setters to be responsible for preparing the extrusion machines to be ready for operation and establishing the correct processing conditions for running good product.The company isgoing through huge growth with plans for further expansion.This role would be an excellent fit for an experienced Extrusion Machine setter who comes from a rigid plastics/ extrusion background with full understanding of how the extrusion machines operateto manage production lines.Key skills of the Extrusion Machine Setter

  • The extrusion machine Setter should have experience in training new starters on the extrusion machines in their previous roles.
  • Experience in running Inspection and quality checks
  • The extrusion machine setter should have experience of working with plastic extrusion machinery – ESSENTIAL
  • The extrusion Setter MUST have experience of working in a production environment
  • The extrusion setter ideally should have leadership experience
  • A team player with good communication skills and problem solving skills
  • Experience of continuous improvement methodology is an advantage
