Job Description

Engineering OperatorA new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a an Engineering Operator to join a well established Engineering Team, within a business who are specialists in their field. this is a brand new position within the company due to their continued success, andfuture business needs.Title: Engineering OperatorSalary: £12ph to £14ph d.o.e + enhanced overtime ratesBenefits: Five weeks holiday per year + Bank Holidays, four day working week, free company and product training, free car parking, pension and optional health schemeLocation: Corby, NorthamptonshireDuration: PermanentHours: Monday to Thursday 7am till 5pmStart date: ImmediateThe successful Engineering Operators duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • MIG & TIG Welding and Fabrication of both raw and galvanising steel
  • Working to engineering drawings, to manufacture company products to specification
  • Operating mechanical machinery such as CNC punch, Brake Press, Guillotines and Stripit machines
  • Conducting testing duties as and when required, to ensure full functionality and quality standards are adhered too
  • Working closely with various departments, mainly Manufacturing, assisting development team when required
The successful Engineering Operator will demonstrate previous experience within a similar engineering role, which included welding and fabrication duties. As this is a new role within the company you will need to be able to take the job role requirements,and establish to day to day functionality.
