Job role: Design Engineer (AutoCAD) Salary: £25,000-£40,000 dependent on experience Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Hours: 9:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 16:30 finish on a Friday - 34.5 hours per week Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Holiday: 31 days including Bank Holidays The Company: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, market leader in the design and manufacture of architectural structures and street furniture in the UK on their search for a skilled design engineer to join their growing team. Our client is lookingfor a design engineer who is proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2D and 3D who is looking to progress their career further! The Benefits: · £25,000-£40,000 salary dependent on experience · 31 days including bank holidays - increases with service (1 per year up to 32 days) · Company pension scheme - 4% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution · On-site parking · Clean working environment The Role: · You will be responsible for the design of architectural structures fabricated from stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium · You will work with key customers and stakeholders to develop and edit designs using CAD systems · You will use AutoCAD 2D and 3D systems to design and develop these structures. · You will produce 2D production drawings and facilitate the manufacturing and installation teams through the fabrication and site assembly of the structure The Requirements: · Previous experience as a design engineer using AutoCAD systems (essential) · Qualified to degree level within design engineering (essential) · Proficient in AutoCAD design package with experience of producing fabrication engineering drawings (essential) · Previous fabrication industry experience (advantageous) · Team player · Looking for someone who wants career progression and growth Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
