Job Description

Assembly Production Operative£9 Per hour - Rising to £9.40 after 12 weeksChoice of shift to suit: 0600 - 1500 / 0800 - 1700 / 1500 - 0000Monday - FridayCorby, NN17 4DTImmediate starts available We are looking for a number of driven candidates to join a busy Vegan Food Production warehouse as an Assembly Production Operative based out of their Corby warehouse.Key Responsibilities;

  • Checking products on the production line for quality and quantities according to specifications/recipes
  • Ensuring that production deadlines are met efficiently and safely
  • Understand the importance of food hygiene, traceability and safety and how to achieve the required standards
  • Adhering to food safety manufacturing standards
  • Reporting machine faults
  • Adjusting machine settings
  • Fill in relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Keep machines and production areas clean and tidy during your shift, following the H&S and COSHH where applicable
  • Follow the recipes and associated processes accurately
  • Adhering to company Health & Safety and GMP policies
  • Manage stock rotation - FIFO and relevant batch codes
  • Liaise with Quality team and report any discrepancies with food safety and quality with materials, packaging, machinery, general GMP and WIP
  • You will be required to wear the appropriate PPE as specified
Required skills;

  • The ability to work quickly and ensuring targets are hit
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Basic knowledge of Maths and English
  • All personnel are responsible for food safety and health and safety
