Aspiring Community Worker -Corby-Education and Training-Aspiring Community Worker -Education and TrainingFebruary 20th startThis role will give a graduate good foundations if you have aspirations in Criminal, Youth Justice and Social justice, understanding an autistic students successes and challenges, all seen through a clinical and restorative lens.Psychology, Criminology and Sociology Graduates welcomed! £390 per week-PAYE-Term time only.Youth and Community, Psychology & Criminology Graduates required for this LSA role in Corby You will be working children aged 5-16 who have low tolerance levels for stress.Can you make the students life just that little bit better today, keep them safe and demonstrate the value of an education to the students In addition, can you keep the children safe You will see a clinical team in action and receive manual handling training.Being able to raise students attainment is very important, the core academics are essential.At the point of referral to the provision many pupils have additional, associated and sometimes complex needs, which may include: ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder); ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder); ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder);Tourettes; Mental Health Difficulties; Language and Learning difficulties; Aspergers or are on the Autistic Spectrum. The school does not cater for pupils who have a diagnosis of Autism as their primary need.Sincerity is a major key in this role, your objectives within youth advocacy and social justice could well come to the fore, restorative processes will form the foundations of this. You wont achieve much without it.**Physical work combined with being pragmatic, making as much academic progress as each childs context allows**Some anti-social behaviour that will take getting used to, this is all part of the role when aiding societys most vulnerable children.
