Job Description

Architectural Detailer£30,000 - £35,000 Metalis are currently supporting a successful architectural business who are seeking an experienced Designer/ Detailer to join their company.The work hours are 08.30am - 5pm (1/2hr unpaid Lunch). There could be an opportunity to work hybrid one or two days a week.Role Outlined:As a Structural Detailer/Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our company, working on a wide variety of exciting and challenging projects. You will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standardsand specifications.This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working on diverse projects and contributing to the creation of stunning architectural structures.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and design intent.
  • Produce detailed drawings, plans, and 3D models using industry-standard software (AutoCAD and TEKLA) for structural components and architectural metalwork.
  • Ensure accurate representation of design concepts, dimensions, and materials, adhering to project specifications.
  • Conduct structural analysis and calculations to validate design integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with fabrication teams to provide technical support and address any design-related issues during the construction phase.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes.
  • Adhere to project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of design drawings and documentation.
