Job Description

Administration AssistantMonday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week with 30 minute unpaid lunch)Starting salary is £22,500/ £11.54 per hour (after the probation, may be increased up to £26,000)Corby. Office basedTemporary - Permanent (after a 3 month successful probation period)Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Corby. Our client is a long established and successful small business with a total head count of less than 20 people. You’ll work directly within a team of 4.To be successful in this role you’ll need to be both very good with administration and customer service, as there will be an element of answering inbound calls, on a typical day you’ll answer between 10 - 15 calls. This role is the first point of contactfor their customers. However, it’s not a call centre.The administration side, you’ll manage a case load for a particular set of clients. Our client has a proficient marketing function which is sent out to private/ residential customers in relation to an interference with their property. On receipt of the residentialcustomer receiving the mailed information from our client, it will be up to them (the customer) to contact our client to follow through with creating a claim submission. It will then be your role to review the validity and cause to proceed with the claim -based on gathering evidence (more information and photos) from the customer.In our client’s own words: "The role is for someone who can prioritise their own workload, work off their own steam and above all be incredibly proactive. They will be asked to help in the day to day administration tasks alongside the other administratorswhich involves incoming and outgoing post."What your day to day will look like:

  • Acting as the first point of contact (via telephone, email, and letter) for all clients and third parties assigned to their caseload, taking ownership of and resolving any queries.
  • Ensuring complete compliance as the cases will be periodically audited at random
  • Taking ownership of preparing and proofing documents accurately
  • Escalating complex cases or queries to senior members of the team if required
  • Liaising with other team members and third parties regarding discrepancies with the case preparation process.
  • Data entry and processing claim submissions.
  • Working with the business to ensure that targets (as communicated from time to time) are being met with regard to offers and reported agreements.
