Service Charge Accountant / Company Accountant - East Cheshire - c£30k+My client is a small independent Managing Agent specialising in the management of RTM and RMC blocks across Cheshire.Established over 20 years with a small, friendly team and loyal client base, they’re now looking to consolidate their accounts department with a competent "all rounder" who will oversee both service charge accounts and internal company accounts reporting directly to the MD.Suitable Service Charge Accountants will have good general service charge accounting experience (pertaining to leasehold blocks of flats and including year-end accounts) as well as the ability to deal with in house accounts relating to the business. Proficiency in SAGE is a must as is the ability to work under pressure, without supervision and to show initiative and commercial awareness at all times.In terms of portfolio size, our client currently oversees 18 sites totalling 950 units with more in the pipeline so the suitable Service Charge Accountant must be comfortable dealing with this volume of leasehold service charges.Salary for the successful Service Charge Accountant is up £30k basic to start although there may be some negotiation for those with particularly strong skillsets.If you are a Cheshire (or closely surrounding) based Service Charge Accountant with wider general accounting experience who would like to work for an independent local managing agent specialising in RTM and RMC blocks please apply now for immediate consideration and further info.
