We have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Account Manager to join a successful and established business in Congleton.Specific payroll experience is not essential for this role, although it would be advantageous. Most importantly, you will be a confident communicator who is used to building excellent customer relationships and providing the best service possible.As the Payroll Account Manager, you will be responsible for looking after the full weekly payroll process for an assigned portfolio of clients. Duties will include:* Accurately enter payroll data to ensure temporary staff are paid correctly and on time* Ensure timesheets are signed off with the correct authorisation* Chase outstanding timesheets and purchase orders* Deal with new starters and leavers information* Process holiday pay and any other statutory payments* Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies* As the Payroll Account Manager, youll build up strong working relationships with your assigned clients* Resolve payroll queries for clients including pension, holidays, statutory payments, IR35, PAYE and national insuranceFor the Payroll Account Manager, it would be good to see candidates with:* Strong customer service skills* An ability to deal with and resolve customer queries* Payroll experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided* Excellent communication skills to speak regularly to your clients and relay more complex information both via phone and email* Ideally, you will have good Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. VLookup and Pivot Tables)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 5.15pmSalary: £19,500 - £22,000 per annumThe role will also suit the following experience: Account Manager, Account Management, Customer Service Advisor, Customer Relationship, B2B Customer Service, Payroll Officer, Payroll Bureau, Payroll Assistant, Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk.Brampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
