I am looking for an experienced head chef, to take on the running of this established and busy destination gastro pub, 15 minutes from Cambridge.As head chef you will be given the opportunity to run the kitchen as if it was your own business, with full autonomy on menu direction, suppliers, & style. You will have full responsibility for coaching, developing and mentoring a large team, working with yoursenior kitchen team to produce a menu using 100% fresh food catering for a large range of clientele and cuisines. You will have the full backing of the company and directors to mould the business and the operations as you see fit.The menu is a mix of British pub classics and Rosette standard fine dining, you need to be happy cooking dishes like fish and chips, classic burgers and Sunday roast along side Ala Carte menu items. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the directorsto steer the business in new culinary directions taking advantage of the local produce available, and by engaging with customers to listen to what they are looking for.Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to work a variety of shifts covering weekends, bank holidays and eveningsThis role comes with amazing career progression opportunities, a great salary package of up to £42,000, bonus, and a great company benefits package.
