Job Title: Powered Access EngineerLocation: South East (Covering Essex, London and Surrounding Areas)Job Sector: Suspended Access Equipment & Lifting EquipmentSalary: Up to £35,000 DOE, Overtime (Time ½ and Double Time Rates available), Van (Personal Usage), Company Pension and 28 Days HolidayAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an engineer to join a market leading, growing specialist FM services business. Working for the Access and Security division, you shall be based from home going out to customer sites across the South East of the UK. Flexibility around travelling is required.You shall be responsible for all service, repair and maintenance on a variety of lifting equipment and suspended access equipment. Holding a LEEA qualification would be a great advantage. In return you shall receive a competitive salary, plenty of overtime and the opportunity to progress and work your way up within a highly profitable, well-structured organisation.Responsibilities of the Role:• Carry out service, repair and maintenance on lifting equipment such as wire ropes, hoists, winches and runaway beams, fall protection systems, suspended access, cradle systems and gantries• Diagnose faults on electrical and mechanical systemsRequirements of Role:• Previous experience working on Powered Access equipment or plant Equipment is essential – Applicant must have a good understanding of electrics• Hold a clean UK driving license• A basic understanding of mechanical engineering is essential with ideally an NVQ or City and Guild qualification being held• CAP Licence or LEEA qualification would be an advantage but not essentialIf you are an Engineer who fits the above requirements and would like to find out more about this opportunity please speak to Sarah Hamill-Moss - –
