We are working with a Smaller Freight Forwarder who are looking to recruit an International Road Freight Imports and Export OperatorWorking hours Monday to Friday on a rota shift 1 week 6am-4pm next week 9am-7pm. With the Occasional weekend. - these may be flexible This is working within a small team, so we are looking for individual with a hands-on approach. Must have international road Import/ Export experience is Imperative do not need customs as have a department that covers customs. Role Involves:· Providing quotes for customers· Interaction with clients and suppliers by phone and email.· Contact suppliers for transport cost.· Data Entry into Box top and generating relevant documents.· Despatch LTL and FTL freight to and from Germany / EU· Involvement in Road Freight Imports.· Domestic despatchRequirements.· Good Import / Export International Road Freight experience.· Customs experience advantage· EU Road Freight experience, ideally Express· Box top, ASM Sequioa experience (Ideally)· Computer Literate.· Driving License advantage.A 5-year reference check and DBS will be required.
