Our client is a well-known player in global logistics, and they are seeking a part time administrator to join their team. This an exciting opportunity to join a company possessing more than 20 years experience in the industry. If you are organised and enjoyliaising with clients and supplier alike, then this could be the role for you!Responsibilities:- To manage the claims process for lost / damaged shipments - To liaise with clients, our underwriter, operations and supplier to establish the facts of a claim - To gather all relevant paperwork and photographic evidence - To keep detailed and accurate records of a claim in a shared folder, to set follow up reminders and actions to move a claim along and through to conclusion - To liaise with accounts regarding the settlement of any verified claim - To manage vehicle insurance claims paperwork - with evidence gathering, submission and completion of claims forms Supporting the Accounts Team with: - DPD duty payments - CODA unpriced lists - Checking and approving some purchase ledger invoices - Handling post - General accounts duties during peak times and staff holidays.Person / Experience Required:- Numerate and literate and be able to manage dialogue with both the client and supplier- Good communication skills - Remain polite to all parties and be able to work under pressure- Organised and thorough with good attention to detail - Knowledge of Microsoft office suite - Experience of sage accounting software is preferablePlease note:As you can appreciate we are currently overwhelmed with applications of individuals looking for both short term and permanent work and we can therefore only contact those applications that have relevant skills for positions that we currently have available.Should you not hear from us within a week, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.In line with GDPR regulations, we are making you aware that to proceed with your application we will need to contact you via email, telephone and/or text message.
