Job Description

Come and join our team here at Hams Hall, Birmingham, B46 1DA as aWarehouse Operative.*Please note start dates begin mid October, but exact date will be confirmed once fully registered with us* As a Warehouse Operative you will be:

  • Picking products
  • Working towards set targeted pick rates per hour.
  • Keeping the warehouse tidy as you go
  • Manual handling
  • Use of hand scanner technology
As a Warehouse Operative you will need to have:
  • You must be physically able to lift goods
  • A good standard of verbal and written English
  • Good numeracy skills
  • The ability to work to targets
  • Good time keeping and attendance
Please note there is a lot of walking and manual handling involved with this role.Previous experience in a Warehouse environment in a role such as a picker, packer, production operative, warehouse operative or labourer will be of benefit but not essential.Shifts we offer are as followed (these are set) -
  • 6am - 2pm - £10.90
  • 2pm- 10pm - 4 hours on £10.90, 4 hours on £11.52
  • 4pm - 12pm - 2 hours on £10.90, 4 hours on £11.52, 2 hours on £13.34
Shifts are any 5 out of 7 - please ensure you can work weekends or you will not be invited to an induction.We also offer 10 hour shifts on a Friday to Monday shift pattern.Transport to the Hams Hall area is limited - please ensure you can travel to B46 before you apply for this role.Benefits in Birmingham -
