Job Description

Warehouse Operations Manager£40,000 + 10% BonusColeshillThe CompanyThis is an SME, that supplies 100 countries with over 6000 customers that has a 5 star rating.Why Would I Want to Work HereA business that is investing heavily in training and development of staff and providing internal communications, so you are always aware of what is going on in the business. The role comes with free parking, work from home, annual company bonus, free teaand coffee, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and full training. Working hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm or 9:00 am - 5:30 pm on a rota basis with agreed work from home.The Essence of The RoleThis role is physically demanding so you must be comfortable working on your feet all day. You will be overseeing the warehouse staff and be part of the senior management team.Scope of the Warehouse Operations Manager

  • Full analysis of warehouse defects using support cases with a risk-based approach.
  • Making sure all shipments leaving the building are packed to a high standard in accordance with relevant shipping methods (IATA, ADR, IMDG).
  • Supervises staff to include hiring, training, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations, and determining disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • A hands-on approach on the warehouse floor to ensure staff are trained, driven to achieve KPIs and orders are delivered on time in full.
  • Managing, motivating, and developing a small group of team leaders to drive KPIs ensuring orders are delivered on time and in full.
  • Ensures resources and personnel are available and allocated to meet operational demand.
  • Promote excellent working practices and positive relationships between all internal departments.
  • Driving the culture
  • Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting
  • Undertaking any risk assessments as required.
Prerequisites
  • Managed a team of People
  • H&S trained
  • International and customs shipping
  • Manufacturing or aviation background would be an advantage
