Job Description

Technical Lead | United Kingdom | GB11700Due to business growth, we have a great opportunity for 2 x Technical Leads to join the Kuehne +Nagel Drinks Logistics (KNDL) team.YOUR ROLEAs a Technical Lead youll be responsible for the design and delivery of the technical aspects of the KNDL systems landscape. This includes all KNDL Information applications & systems, the end-to-end integrations between these solutions to support defined business process and related integrations with Customers.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for supporting the design and delivery of the technical aspects and integrations for all KNDL business systems including SAP and non-SAP solutions.
  • Responsible for completing EDI application interfaces, maps and technical documentation.
  • Ensuring the integration standards are understood, documented and maintained.
  • Supporting the overall solution, scope and integrity of the solutions across work streams.
  • Work with Project Managers to plan development, report progress, manage development risks and issues and facilitate the technical oversight of the project
  • Establish good working relationships and processes with IT teams and business departments to smooth design and development activities.
  • Ensure that there is proper technical impact assessment of all risks and issues and changes to scope, requirements or design. Provide advice on any avoidance, mitigation or remedial actions required.
    • YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and / or demonstrated experience in the Drinks Industry
  • EDI Knowledge - Thorough understanding of EDI and systems integration including Idocs, Tradacoms, XML, EDIFACT. Youll also have in depth knowledge of EDI Integration, design and development to enable review of the development teams work and guidance as appropriate.
  • Team Lead experience, specifically leading a development team. Proven success on multiple, enterprise-scale software development projects.
  • Supply chain and logistics knowledge with a thorough understanding of EDI and systems integration.
  • Excellent in team leadership and team-based problem solving skills. Negotiate resolution of issues and conflict management. Ability to supervise and motivate staff.
  • Motivates others by demonstrating drive and commitment
  • Able to track performance against targets and address performance issues promptly; identify opportunities in own area of responsibility to contribute to commercial success, including increasing process efficiency or reducing problems - youll have a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to monitoring service delivery, requests and problems and able to work toward effective solutions.
