Job Description

The Executive Network Group are currently recruiting aSite Manager for an internationally recognised 3PL company to take the lead on a large site in Hams Hall.Role:Site ManagerSalary: £60,000 - £65,000Location:East Midlands On siteYou will have experience working with a large team in a high pressurised distribution environment. All candidates must demonstrate strong motivational and communication, commercial, and analytical skills.Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and inspect the quality of work to ensure high standards of quality are achieved and address any issues with the sub-contractors and trades.
  • Manage all aspects of performance to ensure compliance within agreed KPIs, as well as ensure the smooth running of warehouse operations, people, health and safety, associated systems and legislation
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Identify potential issues which will affect successful project delivery and take necessary action to remedy the situation or escalate as appropriate.
  • Work closely with theoperations and financialteam to monitor the financial status of the project, organise budgets, identify solutions to problems and improvements and organise activity to deliver these.
  • Deliver multiple requirements to tight deadlines and react to change
  • Focus on business excellence, growth, transformation and continuous improvement of operational efficiency and customer service standards
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A proven and resilient leader working at a site management level within the logistics / distribution / supply chain industry, ideally in a multi-user environment
  • A motivational, forward-thinking, and adaptable style of leadershipconsistently investing in your people.
  • Multi contract exposure
  • A good understanding of reporting and recording performance statistics.
  • Experience in managing budgets
  • The ability to communicate at all levels with an understanding of engagement and motivational tools and techniques
  • Must be collaborative have the ability to influence be a self-starter with plenty of initiative and drive
  • Working collaboratively and having the ability to liaise with HSE, HR, Ops managers, and facilities
  • 4+ years experience as a site manager in a relevantdistribution account management background
  • Excellent financial acumen, commercial awareness, and P&L at a senior level
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, health & safety and all associated regulations
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to coach and mentor
  • An understanding and implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives
