Job Description

Are you a talented Payroll Team LeaderCan you demonstrate that you have experience of managing a team of payroll professionalsIf so then you could be perfect for my client.----The Role:In the Payroll Team Leader role youll report to the Payroll Manager and will be primarily responsible for the management of the payroll team, whilst supporting the Payroll Manager with process improvement and creating efficiency.Specifically, youll be tasked with developing and improving the skills and experiences of the existing payroll team.Youll also be tasked with supporting the Payroll Manager to create efficiency and implementing new processes.Youll spend part of the working week based in the companys Birmingham office, and the rest of it working from home. Details around how this will work will be revealed on application.The standard working hours for this job are 9am - 5pm.----The Candidate:To be the right person for Payroll Team Leader role you will need direct experience of managing a team of payroll professionals.We also need you to have prior experience of:- Payroll software- Manual calculations of payroll- Dealing with HMRCIts important that you also have the following:- Cipp or have equivalent practical experience within a payroll team- Strong excel skills- Strong communication skillsWe need you to be able to work off your own initiative and be flexible and adaptable under pressure.Is that you If so, send us your CV.----The Package:The basic salary for the Payroll Team Leader role is between £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.Youll also receive other benefits which include the following: - 25 days holiday (plus option to buy and sell)- Healthcare plan- Free on site parking- Pension contributions----The Company:The business youll be working for is a UK leading retail business.Theyre a company that people really enjoy working for.
