Role; Node & React DeveloperLocation; Up to fully REMOTE or BirminghamSalary; Up to £50kYou love tech, and everything about it.Sure, you have some go-to languages, like Node and React for SPA development, that you use daily at work, but you love to add in other languages, concepts, tools, etc…after all, variety is the spice of life, isn’t it!You have used all kinds of databases, from the traditional SQL Server, to NoSQL DBs like Cassandra/ MongoDB, through to some exotic Graph Databases such as Arango and Neo4J. It blows your mind at how easily you can just throw data at a Graph Database and it throws out loads of really useful insights!You don’t have a strong preference for front’ or back’ end development; wherever your problem-solving skills are needed, you go there!Your bread and butter is web development, but you have tinkered with IOT devices using embedded C++ and your trusty Raspberry Pi, and now you have all your home lab hosted on the cloud, like AWS or Azure or GCP, but probably AWS.You also looked into serverless tech because it’s the future, clearly, and so have done some lambdas with Node, just for funsies.You have all this knowledge and no juicy problems to throw it at…WELL, I AM HERE TO SAVE YOUR DAY!I am working with a company who have a base in Birmingham, but who don’t mind you working from home as much as you want; now and after the pandemic.They are looking to find a bunch of software engineers like you to join their team to work on creating/ updating various pieces of tech that use a rich tapestry of different languages, tools, and techniques, like the ones mentioned above- NodeJS, ReactJS, React Native, Arango/ Neo4J, Cassandra/ MongoDB, AWS/ Azure/ GCP, Serverless, Lambdas, and maybe some embedded C++, etc.They are a lovely bunch of people who want to do great things for the company and the industry they’re in, and need your help to get there.If you’re reading this and liking the sound of it, then apply now or drop me a line to find out more!
