Job Description

If you are the kind of person who is as crafty, caring and can-do as we are, then this is the kind of culture for you.The bit "About the Role"Operating out of over 500 stores and an Ecommerce business that continues to grow you will join a fast moving and evolving Supply Chain team that is responsible for delivering the great experience we look to give our customers every day.Leading the Merchandisers it will be you and your teams responsibility (working cross functionally and with our product suppliers) to ensure we have the best availability and stock management while looking to improve our current processes. This role will not only require management of a team and delivery of KPI’s, but also challenge current ways of working by developing process improvements and recommending changes to our current ways of working.

  • Manage the budgeting process in terms of SKUs, units, value and stock by product group and sub product group in conjunction with the Merchandising and Buying team
  • Manage the WSSI process in line with company parameters in terms of sales, stock and margin across stores, web and DC to achieve budgeted sales and stock turn.
  • Manage inventory to agreed stock budgets and within OTB and to agreed availability and stock turn KPI’s
  • Review and manage stock intake plans to deliver sales
  • Manage the review process of the WSSI to agreed weekly/monthly timescales ensuring all relevant data updated
  • Manage the stock allocation team to ensure sales are maximised through correct allocation processes
  • To be instrumental in developing and managing the allocation and replenishment system to deliver ideal stocks by store/web which will drive budgeted sales and company stock turn
  • To work with Space and Buying teams to set ideal space matrix by PG/Sub PG to optimise sales and margin throughout the year
  • To work with Import team and DC to manage flow of stock into business
  • To develop and manage all members of the team to ensure high performance of the Merchandising team
