Due to growth and an increase of accounts the Business is seeking a Sourcing Manager to join their Sourcing& Merchandising team. You will continuously strive for commercial advantages with key strategic partners locally and internationally to service business needs and strategy.Description

  • Ensuring optimum commercial proposals received by supply chain partners.
  • Sourcing products to service customer requirements. This will cover Apparel/PPE & Safety/Occupational Footwear.
  • To manage and complete applicable costing for tenders.
  • Seeking opportunities to enhance margin and company profitability.
  • Onboarding new suppliers where required and conducting the necessary due diligence.
  • Identifying opportunities to consolidate purchasing to key supply chain partners
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key strategic partners.
  • In conjunction with the Group Supply Chain Expeditor carry out vendor appraisals of strategic supply chain partners.
  • Management of Group CSR activities within the supply chain
  • Manage all assigned critical path activities dates
  • Supporting other part of the Procurement and/or Technical Department where required
  • Highlight any problems to the applicable stakeholders
  • Completion of the assigned task given
Profile
  • Strong negotiator and achieved challenging saving targets
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and performance
  • High energy and good attention to detail.
  • Thrives in pressured situation and comfortable working to tight deadlines
  • Comfortable in using Microsoft packages, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
