Role Overview:Sanderson are working with a major client who are looking for an IT Specialist. This role is an ideal gateway into wider opportunities within a major global IT company and provides a certification program for one of the worlds largest car manufacturers.It would be well suited to those who have an interest in IT but may not have had the opportunity to work in the sector, or those looking for the opportunity to gain further experience.The IT Specialist will cover a set geographical area to provide on-site support for clients IT hardware devices. You will be expected to work to a professional standard and ensure customer satisfaction through technical skills and strong customer service.Digital IT Speiclaist will be Responsible for:As an IT-Digital Specialist you will be responsible for the continuous development of Facility and Energy Management (FEM) IT-relevant topics acting as the interface between the engaged production divisions / business partners and the local FM organisation.Furthermore, you will be accountable for the implementation of the IT systems, including strategic, tactical planning and control processes in region EME (AUT/UK).As an important interface, you will act in a cross-departmental and future-oriented manner with the aim of optimally integrating all FEM IT systems ensuring that the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of operational business functions are maintained.You will lead cross-functional cooperation and the transfer of know-how across the locations (National and International) and support the digital and data driven enablement of the organisation within the facility / energy management processes.Furthermore, you will ensure that the principles of process management are adhered to and anchored through the introduction of IT/Digital/Data driven solutions. With the focus on continuous improvement, performance, and quality in the field of Facility andEnergy Management to complete your exciting fields of activity.Qualifications:
  • Higher level degree (Bachelor, Master) in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading large IT projects with international scope and focus on data.
  • IT hardware and software knowledge (with primary focus on IT architecture, data architecture and cloud services and cloud architecture).
  • Experience in software development and at least one common programming language.
  • High affinity to and pleasure in familiarising with new innovative technologies (such as Building Information Modelling).
  • Experience in international and intercultural projects.
Team and communication skills:
  • Analytical thinking and structured working method proven experience with agile methodologies.
  • English and German - business fluent both written and spoken, other languages would be an advantage.
  • Profound knowledge of new technologies, innovations, and industry-specific IT applications with a focus on digital transformation (e.g., SAP, CAFM, BIM, Industry 4.0, IoT, IWMS, etc.).
  • Experience in the development and implementation of change programs that enable cultural "transformation".
  • Willingness to travel and self-motivation for international networking.
  • Willingness to relocate internationally.
  • A highly motivated approach to bringing business transformation through digitalisation through systems, data & processes.
