Mercury is a provider of market leading technology solutions to the recruitment industry. Its primary product is a custom solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 which is aimed primarily at recruitment agencies and businesses within professional staffing sectors.This role involves working alongside the Operations Manager to streamline company processes and systems and facilitating improvements in the day-to-day operations of the company. Never a dull moment, this role is ideal for people who like fast-paced, project-based work with a large amount of variety in their role. This role will also be involved in traditional IT activities such as application administration, managing access, internal user support and management of third-party vendors. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we also take the lead on Microsoft licensing and managing our direct CSP relationship, ensuring important knowledge is disseminated to the wider company.Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesThe Operations Analyst is responsible for the following core activities: Analysing company processes to identify improvements Collaborating with other departments on shared projects Developing business cases for proposed changes Carrying out change requests to the internal systems Communicating to staff and providing training where needed Creating supporting guidance documentation on systems and processesAdministering IT systems and platforms, particularly Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365/Power Platform, specifically: Customising Dynamics 365 apps Creating cloud flows in Power Automate Creating Power Apps Creating Power BI reports Microsoft Teams and SharePoint management Liaising with third party suppliers Keeping up to date with relevant Microsoft announcements Understanding and communicating Microsoft Licensing changes Assisting with managing our Microsoft direct CSP status Evaluating applications and addons and/or prototyping solutions And any other duties as defined by the Operations Manager Person SpecificationEssential: Technical aptitude, demonstrating the ability to learn quickly Microsoft office skills in particular Excel Good interpersonal skills and ability to challenge requests where appropriate Confidence in speaking to groups Extreme attention to detail Ability to focus amidst a large To-do List Experience of delivering an IT project Some knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin Centre Some knowledge of Dynamics 365Desirable: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory Advanced knowledge of Dynamics 365 first party apps (Sales, Customer Service, HR, Business Central) Knowledge of Power Platform including Power Automate and Power BIIT Executive Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
