A provider of market leading technology solutions to the recruitment industry is looking for a DevOps Engineer in Coleshill. Its primary product is a custom solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 which is aimed primarily at recruitment agencies and businesses within professional staffing sectors. Working here you will receive a fantastic range of benefits including 25 days annual leave + bank holidays and half day on your birthday, a pension scheme, Personal Health Insurance, flexible working hours, free parking and access to a variety of discounts through Perkbox.As a DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include:- Advocating DevOps principles and producing repeatable automated processes with the aim of improving the efficiency of the Agile software delivery process and helping teams move more quickly.- Carrying out activities such as building and maintaining robust Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery Pipelines (CD) for all software components within the company product suite.- To assist with the creation and maintenance of Application Performance Monitoring (APM), logging and cloud infrastructure monitoring.- Understanding the deployment steps required to promote software changes between Development and QA environments for all products- Start to build Infrastructure as code to enable automated deployments of cloud infrastructure- Automating common time-consuming tasks that increase the flow of work through the development and operations teamsWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer who has the following skills and experiences:- Advanced understanding of DevOps principles- Experience using Azure DevOps Pipelines (or similar technologies) for the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines- Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines to deploy software components such as (but not limited to) ASP.net Web API, ASP.net web apps, Azure Functions and Angular web apps to Azure Virtual Machines and App Services- Understanding of Dynamics 365 and Power platform deployment methods- Experienced use of a cross-platform scripting language such as Powershell- Understanding of Azure and cloud technologies- Good understanding and experience working with Source Control- Knowledge of containerisation and deployment to other Azure PaaS services such as App Services- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills- Good understanding of Agile principles- APM, logging and infrastructure monitoring with tools such as application InsightsIn return, you will receive a salary of £35,000 - £38,000 pa.
