Job Description

Trade Counter Customer Service£18,000Location - Colchester, EssexWorking Hours - Monday to Friday 7.45am-16:45pmAre you currently working in face to face customer service or conducting telephone work but want more This role is looking for a confident person to join their customer service team dealing with aspects of administration, customer service and telephone business development.

  • To work on the trade counter, providing knowledge on anything from door locks to handles to hinges. (not expected to know anything - training is provided)
  • To be the face of the company to both tradesman and members of the public
  • Business development on the phone, calling clients to obtain information
  • Build relationships with existing clients and new clients
  • To help around the office with general administration
    • What are they looking for in a person
  • Confident, able to talk to customers face to face
  • Good telephone manor
  • IT literate
  • Common sense
  • Quick learner/happy to learn
    • What experience/skills do they want
  • Previous retail experience desired
  • Previous telephone experience desired
  • Confident, outgoing personality essential
