Service Engineer (Mechanical)Colchester and Ipswich Territory£24,086 + Bonus + Van + Tools + Phone+ Laptop + Company Pension + 20 Days and Bank Holidays + Training (MIG Welding)4 Days a week (48 hours a week). Option to work Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to FridayService Engineer required for an industry leading global company, who can offer a stable long term career with internal and external training.The Service Engineer role will suit candidates from any background who have experience using power tools. You will need to be comfortable working outside at customer sites and working independently and as part of a small team. You will be customer facing so and will interact with various customers throughout the day. It would be extremely beneficial to have welding experience, however full external MIG training will be provided for the right candidate.The Service Engineer role will involve visiting client’s sites and servicing/repairing trolleys, mobility scooters, wheel chairs and associated parts/equipment. You will maintain and service all aspects of the equipment and carry a welder (provided by the company) to repair metal work issues. You will work outside and inside, in all seasons. You may work in a small team on site on some tasks, but you will liaise with the service controller and line manager via phone and email.The Service Engineer Role:* Maintenance and repair of trolleys, mobility scooters and wheel chairs* Welding, re alignments and general maintenance and up keep* Working from your van on clients sites, paid door to doorThe Service Engineer:* From any background with basic mechanical maintenance/repair experience* Comfortable working outside at client sites
