Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to join a well established team within a family run retailer in Colchester has occurred- which is very rare! They care about each member of staff and its a really enjoyable place to work.This is a varied position which will make every day different.Working in a small team, you will be responsible for a range of products varying in price and size.Duties include but not limited to:

  • Customer queries
  • Up selling products and sharing technical product information
  • Updating stock and advising management of any stock issues
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding stock; deliveries, inventory and condition.
  • Container unloading
  • Lifting and carrying stock
  • Putting together stock for the shop floor
  • Merchandising stock
  • Supporting with stock and showroom moves with seasonal goods
  • Operating the till
  • Assisting in other departments when needed.
