We need your help to do this…The Product Quality Assistant Role:Within our Product Quality Team you will play a vital part in ensuring we consistently meet our exceptional product quality standards. As a sports nutrition and health food manufacturer, we produce a wide range of products including powders, capsules, tablets and soft gels within our own manufacturing facility.In this role, you will be working closely with the Product Quality Manager and Supervisor to ensure raw materials and products conform to specifications and carry out investigations where deviations are found. You will also help implement a number of new quality practices within the production facility and continuously monitor these procedures and practices to ensure high standards are maintained.+ Carrying our testing of raw materials when goods are received in the warehouse+ Carrying out testing of finished products about to move out of the production facility+ Carrying out quality control checks e.g. packaging, labelling, weights, etc.+ Investigation of complaints and raising non-conformities with our suppliers+ Playing an active role in our product development and quality team - perfect for someone with a keen interest in sports and nutrition+ Auditing and monitoring hygiene and cleanliness in the manufacturing facility, ensuring a high level of procedure adherence at all times and reporting where necessaryAbout You:+ Graduate in Sports/Science/Food Technology/Food Safety or similar degree+ Scientific background/education and some experience within a lab (at university level or in a work environment)+ Keen interest in sports nutrition, ideally using sports nutrition products themselves and/or a good understanding of the key products on the market+ Confident and an eye for detail+ Highly literate and numeracy+ Strong communication skills and a great team playerWhat you get in return:+ Competitive salary+ 50% company discount+ Company pension+ PerkBox subscription+ Cycle to Work scheme+ Summer working hoursYour Experience / Background / Previous Roles May Include:Food Technologist, Sports Science Graduate, Sports Nutrition Graduate, Junior Food Quality Analyst, Food Technology,Interested Apply here for a fast-track path to the Head of Product.Application notice...
