Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Private Client Solicitor or qualified Legal Executive to join a well-established busy team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 years PQE and be ready to handle an existing caseload while seekingopportunities for further development.This is a full-time, permanent role based in Colchester. Initially, the successful applicant will primarily work from the office, but may have the option to work one day from home once settled.

  • Involvement in a range of areas, including Wills, Probate, Trusts, Court of Protection, and LPAs.
  • Handling client inquiries and communication with clients and other parties.
  • Providing legal advice and guidance to clients.
  • Identifying and nurturing potential client relationships.
  • Long-term career prospects.
  • Networking opportunities and contribution to the departments marketing efforts.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 years experience in Wills, Probate, and LPAs.
  • Desirable experience in Court of Protection work.
  • Ability to independently handle a caseload of clients with some supervision.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Desire to expand and develop a client base.
  • IT knowledge and interest.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Self-motivated and self-driven
