Job Description

Learning & Development Manager / Sales TrainerCompetitive salary depending on experience Colchester, Essex This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous learning and development experience in either Sales or Recruitment. We are looking for someone to drive new and innovative training into our sales teams from trainees in their first role, throughto coaching senior management in how to get the best out of themselves and their teams. You will be delivering desk-based training on a one to one basis through to group sessions. You will need to be a confident and engaging with strong influencing skillsto ensure managers at all levels are kept informed of progress in learning and development activities, managing expectations and measuring outcomes.Who are Whitehall ResourcesWe are a specialist SAP/Oracle/IT recruitment agency based in Colchester, Essex with an office in Frankfurt, Germany.   • Conduct effective inductions for new starters
  • Attend management led training courses to improve recruitment knowledge, document the differences of each team/market and prepare to deliver an increasing portfolio of courses.
  • Design and implement projects/training programs that focus on the closure of skill and competency gaps and add value to the business in all office locations (UK and International).
  • Leading the L&D function to provide a full development and training service to employees from entry to leadership level.
  • Implement an at desk coaching/follow up program to ensure that training is as effective as possible and make sure that the management team are informed of necessary action points to support the implementation of new skills, competencies and attitudes.
  • Engaging with and managing relationships with key stakeholders throughout Whitehall to ensure that all training is delivered to the highest standard.
  • Establish a long-term Learning & Development framework for the organisation to ensure it will meet its growing capability and resource needs.
Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of working within a Sales business
  • Recruitment experience is desired although not essential
  • Experience as a Trainer or Learning and Development Advisor / Manager
  • Experience working with data, delivering feedback, working on learning programmes
  • Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels, motivate others and change peoples attitudes when necessary
