Job Description

Financial Planning Administrator / Trainee Financial AdviserAre you an individual with experience in a Financial Planning or Wealth Management and industry relevant qualificationsOur Client is looking for a new team member to join them in providing the best service as part of the administration team. This will be providing high quality planning support to the Financial Advisers. As a representative of the business, you will be requiredto work with accordance to FCA standards and their Chartered code of Ethics.

  • Collate and manage information and facts for client meetings, alongside conducting oneself within the 6 core principles of the FCAs TCF and CIIs Code of Ethics.
  • In this busy environment you must be able to prioritise your work load.
  • To assist in ensuring that all client files and company records are compliant in line with FCA regulations.
  • Process applications and servicing matters, communicating with providers, clients, and professional parties such as accountants and solicitors.
  • To process post sale requirements, working to and ensuring deadlines are met for both individual and corporate clients.
  • General office duties
  • Computer based duties include using a bespoke recording and reporting system & MS Office Packages.
At least 2 years IFA support experience, including use of a back-office system such as Iress Adviser Office or IntellifloTraining & DevelopmentTo continue private study to obtain the CII level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning in a reasonable timescale.To pass internal training & test in Data protection, Complaints, Anti-bribery and Money laundering.To continue with ongoing technical training within the office, keeping a good working knowledge of the products and systems used and progressing towards a para-planning role.To continually complete annual CPD in accordance with company and CII requirements.Travel to other branches will be required occasionally therefore a driving licence with own transport is essential.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
