The Just Recruitment Group, is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded organisation, based on the outskirts of Colchester - due to the location of the company - you will need to have access to your own transport.My client is looking to recruit a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer - with both mechanical and electrical experience - to join their long standing team.Working Monday to Friday 7am - 4 pm - some weekend work and overtime is available for the right candidate - this is paid at an excellent rate.The successful candidate will join a small team, responsible for maintaining and repairing various production machines, plant machinery, and some facilities maintenance.You will work as part of a team but must be capable and confident to work unsupervised in a factory environment, at heights and in confined spaces..The ideal candidate will have proven experience in these areas;Electrically*Experience of working on industrial control systems, 3-phase induction motors and variable frequency drives.*An understanding of electrical principles*Safe isolation procedures*Good fault finding skillsMechanically*An understanding of basic mechanical principles*Experience of working on machinery which includes repairs to drive shafts, bearings, sprockets, chains and gearboxes*Knowledge of basic hydraulic systems including, pumps, motors, valves and hose repairs*Logical application of fault finding and repairsForklift licenses would be advantageous but are not essential - as training can be given.This role is offering a competitive basic salary - plus the chance to earn extra when overtime is available.Lots of progression and development is available for the right candidate - free parking is available on site.
