Job Description

We are looking for full and part-time Care Assistants & Companions in the Colchester area of Essex. No experience is required as excellent training is provided, but it is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

  • £10.75 per hour weekdays & £12.00 per hour weekends.
  • Bank Holidays are double pay.
  • Mileage - 25p per mile.

Job Description You will be playing a big role within your community and helping older adults remain independent in their own home. Providing a minimum of 1-hour visits, and always seeing the same clients, you will build relationships with the people you support and help to tackle loneliness in older adults. Each client’s needs are different, but the role can include:
  • Assisting with personal care.
  • Assisting with housework or helping to prepare meals.
  • Providing medication prompts.
  • Taking clients out to appointments, for exercise or to the shops.
  • Providing important companionship and keep them doing the things they enjoy.
