Job Description

CAD Technician - Spider is advertising on behalf of a highly successful company who manufactures high-quality custom built exterior joinery products based in Clacton-on Sea, Essex who are looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join their team.The CAD Technician will be primarily based in the clients site in Essex which houses an extensive joinery workshop, spray shop and design studio. This is a great opportunity to progress your career with a well renowned company within the landscaping design industry, working across commercial and retail sites across the UK.As a CAD Technician, your key task will be the production of technical drawings, converting sketches into workable technical documents for client approval and joinery manufacture.The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Technically minded and originating from a Construction Industry/ Architectural/ Design background.
  • Computer literate and have a working knowledge of 2D and 3D AutoCAD and/ or Solidworks.
  • Ability to understand architectural drawings with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to commute well at all levels is essential.
    • This CAD Technician role is a Full-Time position, working Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm. As well as a competitive salary (based on experience) you will get 20 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), bonus scheme (December and June annually).
