Job Description

Bid Manager (Home Based)SummaryGreat opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager to deliver client and prospect bids, proposals and pitches within UK and Ireland claims business.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver bids, proposals and pitches within claims solutions division in the UK and Ireland across motor, property, casualty and niche service lines.
  • Draft/edit bid content and coordinate internal stakeholder contributions relative to each bid to ensure timely delivery of best-in-class bid content.
  • Provide clear briefings on bid design requirements into dedicated bid design studio
  • Ensure follow-on information requests post-bid are coordinated and fulfilled promptly
  • Report on bid outcomes, live activity and pipeline movements to maintain group-wide visibility
  • Collaborate with bid team colleagues to identify and support group-wide cross sell opportunities
  • Maintain relevant sections of the central library of core response materials to aid efficient drafting where appropriate
  • Capture client feedback on bid submissions and ensure lessons learned are communicated internally and implemented
Skills & Experience Required
  • 5+ years experience in a Bid Management role
  • Bid experience ideally gained within the professional/insurance services sector (Desirable)
  • Highly competent Bid Writer able to cut through technical complexity
  • Skilled communicator able to operate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent project management skills to coordinate multiple lines of operation
  • Ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines
