Job Description

Your long-term employment aims are at the heart of what we doOur Client are a leading business who specialise in manufacturing and distributing towed equipment and parts to the plant hire, construction and utility industries. They are now looking to recruit an Account Manager to be based from their Colchester headquarters. This role is working on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, with a basic salary of £24-25k (plus further earning potential through commission) depending on experience.Account Manager£24-25k Basic Salary, £31k Realistic OTE | Colchester | Mon-Fri Between Hours of 7:30am-4:30pm | Free Parking | Pension Scheme | 29 Days Holiday (Including Bank Holidays) | Family-run Business | Fun, Warm Company Culture | B2B Sales | Cross-Selling, Working to KPIs, Proactive SalespersonAn exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individual to join the company as an Account Manager - to work predominantly with existing clients, with a small part of the role prospecting to new business. Our client is looking for a capable individual to really take control of this opportunity, fully grasping the targets and ensuring that business opportunities are seized.Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • B2B sales & account management
  • Updating data on CRM system, ensuring a high level of accuracy
  • Communicating via the phone, emails and occasional online meetings
  • Researching potential Clients to identify new opportunities
  • Gaining a strong understanding of company products to cross-sell
  • Liaising with internal teams
  • Working toward set KPIs, taking full ownership of these
  • Person Specification:
  • Minimum of 2-years’ experience in a sales/account management role
  • Someone who is well-organised, hungry for sales, self-motivated and driven, commercially minded, and fully understand their numbers
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Confident, professional phone manner
  • IT literate - emails, MS packages
  • A positive, upbeat attitude
  • Ability to work under-pressure
