The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our newly launched Future Senior Business Leaders programme at NFU Mutual. This fixed term contract offers a bespoke suite of structured learning, combined with access to a mentor and business coach,to help you gain the skills you need to lead a £multi-million insurance business in partnership with other like-minded professionals, within the NFU Mutual Agency Network.Our Future Senior Business Leaders programme is designed to help you transition from high-performing corporate manager to fully-fledged strategic business leader within 2 years; ready to take over the reins of a thriving insurance business as a self-employedAgent of NFU Mutual. Spending time in our South East Agency network, you’ll experience a series of tailored agency placements to meet your development needs. Gaining exposure to key business areas across NFU Mutual, you’ll acquire an in-depth knowledge ofour portfolio of products and stakeholders, including Marketing, Financial Services, Risk Management Services and Underwriting. Involved in projects that enable you to add value from day one, this Programme is your opportunity to secure your future as a self-employedSenior Agent within the NFU Mutual Agency Network.This role falls under the Insurance Distribution Directive. This means there is a requirement for Continuous Professional Development in role, in addition to ongoing screening checks once in post.The role is working with our growing South East region, and so candidate could be based anywhere in that region, including (but not limited to) London, Watford, Basingstoke and Guildford.About youAs an aspiring strategic business leader you already have a solid career platform to build on. Currently working in a senior sales or business development capacity within Insurance or related industries, (for example Financial Services) you know you wantto run your own business but need support to move into a self-employed role.
