Job Description

VAN DRIVER / 3.5 TONNE DRIVERMonday to Friday (week 1) - 0600 - 1800 / Monday to Friday (week 2) - 1330 - 2200 Rotating Weekly£11.03 Per HourWhats in it for mePeople Solutions are looking for a Van Driver for our Client in Coatbridge.Benefits

Day to Day Duties
  • As a Van Delivery/3.5 Tonne Driver you must complete your daily vehicle checks both before and after your shift.
  • Working as part of a 2 person team
  • You will be delivering furniture to customers homes from the clients Warehouse in Coatbridge.
  • You will leave the item you have delivered in the customers room of choice.
  • You will be required to be flexible with start times as this role will be working one week with a 0600 start time and the next week you will be starting at 1330. This will rotate weekly.
Essential Skills
  • Must hold current UK Driving Licence
  • No more than 6 points on licence
  • No DR or DD convictions can be accepted due to client’s insurance.
  • This can be a physically demanding role, so you must be prepared for heavy lifting.
Desirable ExperiencePrevious experience working within the distribution industry would be an advantage.What training is provided
  • You will receive training which will involve manual handling training.
  • You will be buddied up with an experienced member of staff for a minimum of one shift to learn the role.
