Job Description

First Achieves Engineering Department have an excellent opportunity available for a Quality Control Technician to join our busy fabrication & manufacturing client in Coatbridge.Whats on offer:

  • Monday to Friday - Day Shift
  • 39 hours per week
  • Circa. 25,000 per annum + Over-Time
  • Initially temporary leading to permanent after 13-weeks.
  • Full Training on offer for the right candidates.
Your duties and responsibilities would include:
  • Carry out visual & dimensional checks, ensuring they are correct according to engineering drawings.
  • Checking measurements using Vernier Callipers / Tape Measure.
  • Provide and maintain all product quality related documentation
  • Investigating any complaints and assisting the wider compliance team with visits and audits
To be successful in this position you will ideally have previous experience within a quality control environment. Be able to work on your own and in a team, prioritising your own workload to meet deadlines.
