Job Description

Location: CoatbridgeSalary: £25.5k - £30.6k per annum (Dependent on skills & qualifications)Reference: REQ2763THE ROLETo plan, coordinate and manage SGNs 5-year plan encompassing both apprenticeships, graduates, and other talent training schemes by managing a busy workload, project planning and organising work to meet varying demands. The role will involve SGNs Southernand Scotland network talent programme activities and work with other teams across HR and the wider company. The role will have responsibility for the administration, coordination and compliance of our Apprenticeships & Trainee schemes, Talent courses and otherprogrammes as required. These play a key part in providing sustainable value in our talent pipelines ensuring they are fit for purpose as our industry transitions towards a net-zero future.Principal Accountabilities;

  • Provide programme coordination across the Scotland & Southern Networks with Apprentice/Trainee, and Graduate funding related activities
  • Liaise with key business stakeholders, sponsors and vendors of talent programmes to ensure smooth running of schemes
  • Manage and maintain learner data, certification, documentation and progress trackers on appropriate systems including in-house LMS (CornerStone-on-Demand)
  • Ensure all documentation and record keeping meets the required standards and is audit ready
  • Collate & present learning related data and management information as required
  • Working closely with academic partners to manage MI systems
  • Support with the monitoring of Apprentice/Trainee attendance, progress and performance reviews
  • Support self-assessment and quality improvement activities
  • Assist with assessment centres and other activities for Apprentice/Trainee recruitment
  • Assist with the delivery of Apprentice/Trainee induction programmes
  • Support in the administration and co-ordination of Apprentice-related events and awards
  • Provide administrative support for candidate enrichment activities
  • Work with HR, OH and T&D staff where appropriate promoting with candidates the various tools and services such Employee Assistance Programme
  • Provide coordination and administration of other talent related management.

  • Previous experience of large Apprenticeships and/or early talent development programmes
  • Previous experience of Learner Management Systems and training course administration
  • Able to manage varying priorities and activities in an operationally focussed business
  • High level of IT literacy - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Providing MI reports from various systems supporting talent related activities
Desirable
  • Experience of funding & awarding bodies compliance and regulatory requirements (ESFA, EAL, etc)
