Would you like to pursue a career in theatre Are you enthusiastic about working in the peri-operative environment If so, this is an exciting opportunity for you!We are offering the opportunity for you to join our Theatre Academy October intake: this is a 6 month intensive learning and development opportunity to support you to become a skilled and knowledgeable Theatre Nurse within our peri-operative team!The Theatre department at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital has developed a complete training programme for individuals with a keen interest in the area.You will be employed for 6 months in a supernumerary capacity. In this period, you will split your time between classroom activity (including simulation learning) and hands on clinical care. You will be supported by a clinical mentor, the clinical education team, and the Theatre Academy Faculty to complete a programme of competency based training.
