Are you a Quality professional within the Manufacturing industry We have a permanent opportunity for a PCB Quality Inspector, based in the West of Glasgow, working for a leading PCB fabrication and assembly house. Salary up to £20K, plus benefits, working 7.45am to 4.40pm Mon to Thurs and 7.45am to 12.50pm on a Friday!Reporting to the Production Manager, you will carry out visual inspection of first-off and batch-built Printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies, completed units and cable assemblies. You will support Assembly Supervisors and Operators in addressing quality issues and to maintain quality records, as required, by the quality management system. The ability work in a methodical and structured way is essential for this role.To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience of working as a Quality Inspector within the electrical manufacturing industry, with the ability to work from drawings, work descriptions and diagrams, and strong component knowledge. You will need previous experience of Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) and have knowledge of IPC-6010 and AS9100.
