An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our dedicated team in the Health and Safety Department in providing expert advice and guidance covering the general subject of Health and Safety within NHS Golden JubileeYou should have previous experience as a safety professional (preferably in a large organisation) with a recognised qualification in Health and Safety (NEBOSH diploma as a minimum) or equivalent with Chartered Membership of Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (CMIOSH) or have evidence of working towards.Experience and knowledge of working within a healthcare environment would be advantageous.Applicants should have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the legal, best practice and practical application required to provide expert health and safety advice, training and guidance to all staff within NHS Golden JubileeAs training and communication will form a large proportion of the posts activities, excellent presentation and communication skills are necessary to meet the essential and desired criteriaExperience in wider health and safety issues such as Fire Safety would be advantageousThe post holder will report directly to the Head of Health and Safety and will be a key part of the Health and Safety specialist team.
