Job Description

Applications are invited for the following Clinical Fellow vacancies:

  • Clinical Fellow Cardiology - Scottish National Advanced Heart Failure Service (SNAHFS) – 1 posts available from August 21 – August 22
  • Clinical Fellow Cardiology – Complex Device Therapy and Advanced Heart failure +/- Electrophysiology post available from August 21 – August 22
  • Clinical Fellow Cardiology – Intervention and Imaging – 3 posts available from August 21 toAugust 22
  • Clinical Fellow Cardiology – Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service (SACCS) – 2 posts available from August 21 – August 22
    • The successful applicants will be based within the West of Scotland Regional Heart and Lung Centre at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Clydebank. The hospital is the regional tertiary centre for cardiac surgery and complex electrophysiology for the West of Scotland and the largest volume PCI centre in the UK. It also houses the Scottish National Advanced Heart Failure Service, Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service and the Scottish Pulmonary Vascular Unit.These Fellowships offer excellent opportunities for clinical experience in Coronary Intervention, Advanced Heart Failure (including cardiac transplantation and mechanical support), complex device therapy, Invasive EP, Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD), and tertiary centre clinical cardiology. These posts would be suitable for a range of applicants including Specialist Registrars or Trainees wanting subspecialty experience.
