***This post is for employees of the Golden Jubilee only***We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly experienced Registered Nurse or Operating Dept Practitioner for this role. In this post you will lead on all aspects of the NHS Scotland Training Academy perioperative programme.You will work closely with the Perioperative Clinical Educator and clinical education team to support all aspects of clinical education within the perioperative environment. You will have specific responsibility and accountability for supervising and implementing the Theatre Academy training program, both in the perioperative environment and in classroom and simulation training.You will be a Registered Nurse/ Operating Dept Practitioner with an Ordinary level degree in nursing or healthcare (or equivalent) and demonstrated progressive experience in the perioperative dept.You will have post graduate teaching qualification (or evidence or working towards this award), and demonstrated teaching experience within perioperative environment.Simulation training or experience would be desirable.Informal discussion contact: Eleanor Lang, Associate Nurse Director onor Leanne Fyfe, Clinical Nurse Manager, Theatres Dept.
