This permanent role is for a Care Services Manager located in ClydebankClient DetailsOur client is operating on a large scale across the UK. They are renowned for their commitment to delivering high-quality care services and their dedication to the people they serve.Description· Ensure compliance with Health & Social Care Standards· Inform the Care Inspectorate of any relevant changes· Address any recommendations arising from inspections· Ensuring Care Plans are individualised and appropriate, delivering person-centred care, delivering a duty of care with awareness of vulnerability and adult protection, taking action when any shortfall is identified· Leading a reliable, sufficiently resourced team, to deliver accessible, continuous care, both during office hours and on-call, with an efficient response to new referrals.· Overseeing the coordination of care· Establishing good communication links with service users, families, NOK and other service providers/stakeholders· Maintain the processes of assessing and reducing Risk· Work with the company to develop robust systems and proceduresQuality Assurance:· Promote Best practice and a culture of continuous improvement and learning· Have clear procedures in place to guide, monitor and evaluate quality of services provided· Evaluate services through regular reviews, analysis of complaints and auditing, promptly implementing actions for improvement· To perform such reasonable duties as assigned by the Operations Director or other members of the senior management team.· Maintain Health and Safety standards, by maintaining records and monitoring practices· Undertake risk assessments where appropriate to support individuals· Care and maintenance of premises, equipment, vehicles and resources.· Monitor the areas where colleagues are deployed, ensuring maintenance, repair and security of property· Ensure colleagues have the appropriate equipment to carry out their duties and that all equipment is maintained to the required standard.· Make colleagues aware of the policy on use of vehicles, including adequate insurance cover.· Leading the safe practices in Infection Prevention and Control through auditing to company standards and team trainingProfile· To proactively manage budgets ensuring efficient use of resources.· To develop operational controls ensuring a commitment to cost effectiveness and value for money.· Maintain own professional development as agreed through Supervision and Annual Appraisal with the line manager.· Identify knowledge and skills required for colleagues and plan training/development programmes, assisting with delivery where relevant.Disciplinary Process management· Co-ordinate or participate in the investigation of complaints/concerns and any disciplinary matters· To ensure the service meets the requirements of Regulation of Care Act (2001) and the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010· The delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user through assessment, person centred planning and regular outcome focussed reviews of services.· Compliance with the company Development & Training and Supervision Policies.· Participate in the strategic development of the organisation and assist with the implementation of strategies for developing quality, innovative care at home services.· Grow and develop services through increasing delivered hours and maximising referral opportunities while maintaining high standards of care and support.· Produce management reports and attend Management Team Meetings as required· Identify recruitment needs and develop plans to ensure the service is appropriately· Establish and maintain effective two-way communication to ensure that all colleagues can contribute.· Offer advice, support and guidance to colleagues at all levels.· Represent the service in external/multi-agency meetings, and maintain positive collaborative relationships with partner organisations and external bodies.Job Offer
