Job Description

Were seeking a Trainee Paraplanner to join a well-established and highly successful Wealth Management Firm based in the heart of Clifton Village, Bristol.The company specialises in offering expert financial advice to individuals and businesses in a wide range of areas including tax efficient investment planning, retirement planning, pension planning, estate planning, with an aim to reduce inheritance tax.As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will play an integral role within the business. You will provide technical support to the financial advisers and provide high quality service for clients. This role will see you writing cases, answering technical queries; youllalso need to ensure cases are chased and issued in a timely manner.Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for reviewing, analysing and preparing compliant recommendations, as well as preparing suitability letters and reports.Whats in it for you:

  • Salary range £27,000 - £32,000 (dependent on what you can bring to the role)

A bit about youyou will be:
  • A trainee Paraplanner looking to develop within a new firm or an experienced Administrator looking for your next step into paraplanning
  • A good problem solver
  • Forward thinking, collaborative with good admin & organisational skills and a real eye for detail
  • Warm & friendly and enjoy client interaction
  • Not afraid of getting stuck in and assisting where needed within a small business
  • Ideally qualified to Level 4 or close to achieving this.

  • Lovely offices within the heart of Clifton Village; near shops, bars, and restaurants.
You will:
  • Complete simple Suitability Letters - ISA top ups, Pension top ups
  • Liaise with the compliance department regarding technical queries
  • Discuss client objectives with the financial adviser
  • Undertake research to identify suitable solutions to meet client needs
  • Complete application forms
  • Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order
  • Make changes to clients investments as instructed
