This role will join the existing Finance Analyst in supporting the Finance Director to make effective financial decisions. The job is heavily project based and is incredibly varied, ranging from preparation of annual budgets and forcasting income, to providing data to make decisions on whether to implement a new billing structure or support in tendering decisions for new suppliers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a variety of people across the school, being able to communicate and assist with financial decision making. They will have strong problem solving skills and not be afraid of a challenge, typically using their exceptional excel skills (pivots/macros etc) to analyse and present data in a simple and straight forward way.
